Jamie Clark, Manager
Edward Miner Gallaudet Building, Room B-01

The overall goal of Network Security Unit at Gallaudet is to support the mission of the university. This is accomplished by assuring that the data transmission infrastructure is:

  1. Secure from unauthorized access,
  2. Secure from illegal or dangerous activities,
  3. Secure from traffic that may harm the network or the devices connected to it.

Network Security uses a variety of means to accomplish these goals, including management of the "Campus" domain, implementation of firewall rules, and monitoring of network traffic.

Questions about Network Security should be addressed to:  security@gallaudet.edu.
