ITS Service Rates
ITS charges for certain services provided to individual departments. The current rates for these services are below.
Department Network Share Drive
ITS will establish shared network drives that allow individuals within a department to share files with other users in the same department.
The cost per gigabyte (1GB) of shared file space is: $5/year
The maximum shared file allocation is 200GB for each department.
New Network Circuits
When requested, ITS will install new network jacks to allow access to the Gallaudet data network. The fees for installation of the jacks, or movement of them from one location to another, are as follows:
CAT5 network circuit (10/100 MB) $185
CAT6 network circuit (10/100/1000 MB) $235
The addition of more data lines in a particular area may require the installation of higher capacity network switches. If so, ITS will charge departments for the switches at their cost to ITS.
Phone Services
When requested, ITS will install new phones and if necessary, new phone jacks to receive additional phone circuits, or move them to different locations. The fees are as follows:

Server in ITS Data Center
ITS provides physically secure space and back-up services for mission critical departmental servers in the ITS Data Center in the EMG building. ITS will cover the costs of backing up the servers up to146GB of data. The storage fee for data beyond 146GB is as follows.
Every 200GB above 146GB $500/year

Additional Services
When ITS is asked to provide technical services that ITS cannot provide in-house, ITS will contract with an outside vendor to provide the services. Departments will be billed at ITS’s cost.
