Please note, personal non-Gallaudet owned computers are not supported. The Computer Support Services Unit provides the following services for Faculty and Staff:

  • Software Installation
    • The Computer Support Services Unit cannot legally install any software without a valid license.  Click here for a list of software supported by Gallaudet University.
  • Hardware Installation
    • Our Technicians are Dell Certified.  Therefore, they can only order replacement parts for Dell equipment that is under warranty.  All other brands of equipment are the responsibility of the end user. 
    • Minimum Hardware Support Requirements
  • Printers & Peripherals
    • We do limited repairs on printers and peripherals.  If we are unable to meet your repair needs, we will recommend an outsiide vendor that can be contacted for repairs.

  • Submit a Help Desk Request, and a Computer Support Services Technician will assist you.  If the issue is other than what is listed above, the technician will reassign your ticket to the appropriate unit. 
  • All requests must be submitted through the Help Desk.  To submit a request, go to http://helpdesk.gallaudet.edu.  Also, you can email a request to helpdesk@gallaudet.edu.  If you are unable to submit your request online or through email, call the Help Desk at (202) 651-5044.
